Dustin’s love for all things nautical began at a young age when he learned to sail as a teenager.  His interest led him to become a kayak tour guide in the San Juan Islands, and then to owning and cruising his own powerboat. Dustin has cruised the San Juan Islands, Gulf Islands, Desolation Sound, and Barkley Sound.

Dustin began working as a yacht technician over two decades ago.  His journey continued with the launch of Bago Boatworks in 2021. These experiences as a yacht technician, as well as an owner / operator gives him a unique understanding of what it takes to keep a vessel in top-notch condition and ready to cruise. His dedication to quality craftsmanship and attention to detail are the cornerstones of our company’s success.
